Friday, Friday!

Looking forward to the weekend! :)

-Class
-dinner with friends
-Palermo on a Friday night!

So, today started off like most of my days here. I just went to class at 2. It was pretty good. We conjugated irregular verbs in past tense. :)
I really think I am getting better! For the first time I didn't get ANYTHING wrong on my homework!!!! This pretty much never happens to me, haha. :). My speaking still isn't the best, and I only like to speak if someone asks me a question [rather than initiating anything, lol], but it's coming along. :DDD

Side note: my teacher mentioned in class today that this weekend is the election weekend. This means that a lot of stores will be closed this weekend, and pretty much EVERYTHING will shut down on Sunday in order to encourage people to vote this weekend. It's very interesting... rather than partying on their free day, it seems like they will just chill. Hmm.

After class, I was beginning to skype with my mom and brother, until there was a LOT of noise outside my room. I checked to see what happened, and Brad brought over 4 of our classmates to the apartment. I had to let my family go to see what all the commotion was.
After talking to them, I found out that they were all going to go out to eat, then "go out". I had actually purchased a ticket to go to Cafe Tortoni, to see some tango, so I was unsure if going out to eat was a good idea. We talked about everything, and I decided against going to Cafe Tortoni, mainly because I already paid 100 pesos, and that was only for the ticket. It didn't include food or drink.
So we walked to a place called Kentucky's Pizzeria. It was delicious!!!! It was the most "U.S." tasting pizza I have had here. I was sooo glad that it wasn't strange tasting, hahaha. I also had a glass of Moscato with my pizza, but I completely forgot that I don't drink wine like normal people. I take very, veryyyy small sips of the wine... just enough to actually taste the wine. Because of my wine drinking technique, I basically didn't drink any of  my wine, because I only went through 1/4 of a class, hahaha. I wish I liked wine. It seems like a very classy drink, lol.

After dinner I needed to get to a bank ASAP. We went to Banco Frances, and took some money out, then we went back to the apartment. We mainly listed to music and got ready to "go out:".... which wasn't much. I think I changed my shirt and put on makeup, and was ready to go!
Once we arrived in Palermo, we waiting for a few people from our medical group. they didn't actually show up, so we just went to a bar instead. At the bar I ordered a submarion, which is basically a bar of chocolate and a cup/mug full of milk... The bar of chocolate is placed into the mug of hot milk, and hot chocolate is mad! It was pretty good, just not very sweet.

To be honest, I think I may like Palermo better than Recoleta at this point. Palermo seems to be prettier than Recoleta to me. Hahaha.

Alright, it's suuuper late over here.... I am going to try to write the rest of in the morning, if possible.]
Buenas Noches! <3 :)
